Some unlocks are exclusive to the map (like starting areas and hidden stashes), while others (items and suits) are sent to your inventory and can be used anywhere else in the game (except for the places where those things wouldn’t be allowed - custom rulesets where you have to start out wearing a specific suit or without any weapons, for example). Let’s move onto the meat and potatoes of Hitman 3 unlocks.Įvery map has its own progress, most of which can be leveled up to 20, and you’ll unlock something with every level-up. If you were buying these piecemeal back when Hitman 2 was fresh, then it’s possible you have some of these items but not all of them.Īll the stuff I mentioned so far can be unlocked before you ever set foot in the game, so the DLC and bonus unlocks were just a little snacky snack to tide you over.
If you’re back-purchasing, then you only have a single option, the $40 expansion. However, if you purchase the Expansion Pass, then you should have all of them (with one possible exception). So if you bought the base game of Hitman 2 but not the Expansion Pass, then you won’t have these items. With Hitman 2, there’s an Expansion Pass on top of the base game. The Requiem content should now show up in Hitman 3 for anyone who meets the requirements (owning the Hitman GOTY Access Pass).

Update: In patch 3.20, IO Interactive has finally fixed this. I hope they get this sorted soon, because that’s one heck of a stylish suit, and that chrome pistol is pretty easy on the eyes as well. IO Interactive has mentioned (at the very bottom of an incredibly long post) that they’re looking into this issue, so they definitely plan on letting us use this content in Hitman 3 at some point. I created a separate category for these items for this reason. I myself have not been successful in moving these items into Hitman 3 (even though they work in Hitman 2 just fine). While some users claim they’ve successfully imported these items, many users cannot. If you own the GOTY Access Pass for Hitman, this content should show up in Hitman 2 and Hitman 3. The Hitman Requiem Pack was DLC for Hitman (2016).

To put it another way, anything I mention in this guide can be unlocked inside of Hitman 3.

I’m going to write this guide for people who started with a clean Hitman 3 save and have no unlocks yet rather than explaining how to unlock things in previous games before importing save files. (I’ve written a whole guide on the Blue Flamingo Suit, so you can read that for a more complete explanation of both methods.) For this particular guide, I will only include the method for unlocking it in Hitman 3. However, in Hitman 3, there’s a completely different method for unlocking the suit. The Blue Flamingo suit, which I mentioned earlier, can be unlocked in Hitman 2. I’m going to include the versions of Hitman and Hitman 2 that exist inside of Hitman 3. I’m basically writing this because the other guides I’ve found have been hilariously incomplete and I wanted there to be a better one. I’m also including the category of each item, so if you want to find every single poison, you can just hit CTRL + F and type “poison” to quickly scroll to every poison item in this list. If you want to unlock the Jaeger 7, for example, you can search this article and find out exactly how to unlock it. The handy thing about this is that you can do a CTRL + F search to quickly find anything you want to know about. It’s impossible to keep track of all of this stuff on your own, so I’m going to walk you through unlocking absolutely everything that can possibly be unlocked in Hitman 3. And some items, like the Bartoli Hunting Shotgun Deluxe, aren’t in any menus at all - you just have to know what to do without the game asking you to do it. Others, like the Blue Flamingo suit, are hidden in menus where you might not think to look. Some of the unlocks are relatively easy to figure out.
